Production Intern – Diagnostics Manufacturing

About the role

ElectraDx is seeking a Production Intern to join its diagnostics manufacturing team for a four‑month paid placement. The role offers recent engineering or science graduates hands‑on experience in a GMP‑regulated environment, supporting the production of diagnostic test strips and related devices.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the manufacture and assembly of diagnostic test strips.
• Operate production equipment after training and follow clean‑room protocols.
• Perform quality checks, record production data and ensure compliance with SOPs.
• Support routine equipment cleaning and preventive maintenance.
• Contribute to day‑to‑day manufacturing tasks alongside engineers and scientists.

Required profile

• Recent graduate in Engineering, Biomedical Science, Chemistry, Biology or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Interest in medical devices, diagnostics or manufacturing environments.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Practical, hands‑on mindset with a proactive attitude.

Required skills

• Familiarity with GMP guidelines.
• Understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Experience with clean‑room procedures.
