Production Manager – Corrugated Packaging

About the role

We are seeking a Production Manager to lead our corrugated packaging manufacturing site in Cricklade. You will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality production that meets customer requirements and business targets. The role offers the chance to shape a high-performing team within a company with 75 years of industry experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all production activities to achieve output, quality and delivery targets.
• Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.
• Own production planning execution and allocate resources to meet demand.
• Develop, coach and motivate production teams, fostering accountability and engagement.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards.
• Monitor performance against KPIs and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders for effective communication and problem solving.
• Contribute to the overall operational strategy and growth initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing production in a manufacturing environment, preferably in corrugated packaging.
• Strong leadership with the ability to engage, develop and motivate teams.
• Structured, proactive approach to performance management and efficiency.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Forward-thinking mindset focused on continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Corrugated packaging manufacturing expertise.
• Experience with production planning systems.
• KPI reporting and analysis.
• Health & safety knowledge (IOSH or NEBOSH preferred).
