Production Manager – Electronics, Aerospace & Defence

About the role

We are seeking a Production Manager to lead our electronics manufacturing operations within the aerospace and defence sectors. The successful candidate will join a rapidly expanding, industry‑leading company that prides itself on innovation, high‑quality workmanship and strong customer focus.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day production and manufacturing activities, ensuring targets are met.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and manage quality checks on legacy products.
• Develop and implement Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) procedures.
• Act as the technical point of contact for customers and internal teams.
• Drive continuous improvement and mentor junior engineering staff.

Required profile

• Degree, HNC or HND in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in a Production Engineer or Manager role within the manufacturing, aerospace or defence sector.
• Strong organisational abilities and computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office.
