Production Manager – Food Manufacturing (4 on/4 off)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join a leading Scottish FMCG company on a 4‑on‑4‑off shift pattern. You will be based in North Lanarkshire, within easy commuting distance of Glasgow, West Lothian and Stirlingshire. Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high‑performing production team in a food manufacturing setting.
• Plan and manage production schedules to meet customer demand and business targets.
• Monitor and improve production KPIs such as efficiency, waste, downtime and output.
• Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Manage labour, materials and production resources effectively.
• Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance and Technical teams to maintain product standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production line issues to minimise downtime.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in production, manufacturing or operations management.
• Background in food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Proven ability to manage teams in a high‑volume production setting.
• Willingness to work a 4‑on‑4‑off shift pattern (05:30‑18:00; 10:30‑23:00).
