Production Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our precision engineering and aerospace manufacturing site in Liverpool. You will be responsible for ensuring that production targets, quality standards and delivery commitments are consistently met while fostering a safety‑first culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support production teams to achieve safety, quality, delivery and cost objectives.
• Maintain compliance with aerospace standards (AS9100) and internal procedures.
• Drive lean manufacturing, workflow optimisation and waste‑reduction initiatives.
• Monitor production output, provide performance updates to senior leadership and resolve issues in partnership with Quality and Engineering.
• Support effective production planning, staffing and resource allocation.
• Promote a positive safety culture across the site.

Required profile

• Proven experience in aerospace, precision engineering or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing production teams.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Quality, Engineering and Planning functions.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
