Production Manager – Timber & Wood Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our timber and wood manufacturing operation in Warrington. You will own the day‑to‑day production process, drive efficiency, and uphold the high quality standards expected by our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily production activities, ensuring targets are met.
• Oversee production planning, workflow coordination and delivery schedules.
• Maintain product quality through robust quality control procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
• Manage budgets, purchasing and resource allocation.
• Develop, coach and support a skilled manufacturing team.
• Implement health & safety and compliance protocols.
• Coordinate machinery maintenance and ensure safe, effective facilities.
• Collaborate with other departments to support business growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a production or manufacturing environment.
• Background in timber, woodworking, joinery or furniture manufacturing.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams.
• Strong understanding of production planning, quality control and continuous improvement.
• Ability to balance quality, efficiency, cost control and delivery requirements.
