Production Operative – Bag Making (Temp to Perm)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Production Operative to join our busy bag‑making team in Sharpness. The role is hands‑on, operating machinery on a Monday‑to‑Thursday schedule with a three‑day weekend and weekly pay.

Key responsibilities

• Operate bag‑making machines safely and efficiently.
• Load rolls of film onto the machines as required.
• Carry out regular quality checks throughout production.
• Sort and pack finished bags according to specifications.
• Complete quality‑control paperwork accurately.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area.

Required profile

• Previous production or factory experience preferred, especially in food or packaging.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and high attention to detail.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to different machines.
• Professional approach to hygiene, cleanliness, and safety.

Required skills
