Production Operative – Food Production (Uncured & Curing)

About the role

We are seeking a Production Operative to join our food manufacturing team, working in both uncured and curing areas. You will help keep production lines running smoothly while adhering to strict quality, safety and hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies, including Health & Safety and Food Safety.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and wear appropriate PPE.
• Report health, safety or quality concerns to the Line Leader or QA.
• Participate in training programmes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Carry out the curing process for meat products using dry curing, injection or brine solutions.
• Ensure products meet quality specifications and flag any out‑of‑spec items.

Required profile

• Team player with strong attention to detail.
• Safety‑conscious mindset and ability to follow hygiene requirements.
• Effective communication skills.
• Positive attitude towards continuous improvement.
• Previous experience on a production line is an advantage.
