Production Operative

About the role

We are looking for a Production Operative to join a well‑established manufacturing client in Irlam. The role offers competitive hourly rates, rotating shift patterns and the chance to develop skills in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manufacture fire‑prevention products to company specifications and quality standards.
• Carry out production tasks such as palletising, bagging and assembling components, e.g., fitting rubber washers to sprinklers.
• Perform visual quality checks and report any defects or safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area and follow all Health & Safety procedures.
• Meet production targets and deadlines while adhering to company policies.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work rotating shift patterns, including early, late and night shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks.
