Production Operative / Lab Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Production Operative / Lab Technician to join an established environmental laboratory in Altrincham. The role involves testing and extracting soil and water samples for scientific examination and safety analysis, working within a fast‑paced production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, prepare and analyse soil and water samples in the laboratory.
• Perform extraction procedures and safety testing according to standard protocols.
• Record and input test results using computer systems, ensuring data accuracy.
• Meet daily KPIs and adhere to production schedules.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area and follow health‑and‑safety guidelines.
