Production Operative – Level 1 (Eco‑factory)

About the role

You will join a fun, committed team in the packing and filling department of an award‑winning eco‑factory. As a Level 1 Production Operative you will support the production process, operate machinery, pack products and ensure all outputs meet strict quality and hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with Line Leaders and Team Leaders to meet production requirements.
• Verify that all supplied materials have passed Quality Control before use.
• Maintain a clean and fit‑for‑use production area and equipment.
• Adjust machinery and processes to keep products within specification.
• Record production data on QC Record Sheets and complete schedules.

Required profile

• Experience in a fast‑paced factory or warehouse environment.
• Practical, logical approach to tasks with strong numeracy and computer literacy.
• Can‑do attitude, flexibility and willingness to work overtime during peak periods.
• Able to quickly recognise faults or quality issues and take corrective action.

Required skills

• GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) knowledge.
• Machinery operation.
