About the role
We are seeking a Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing facility in Newton Aycliffe. The role involves operating machinery on production lines, ensuring product quality and maintaining a safe working environment.
Key responsibilities
- Follow health and safety directives and standard operating procedures.
- Operate machinery on busy production lines.
- Perform quality control checks and inspections to ensure products meet standards.
- Collaborate with team members, supervisors and other departments.
- Carry out general housekeeping duties.

- Can‑do attitude.
- Good communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work a two‑shift rotation.

What we offer
- Two‑shift rotation: 06:45‑15:15 Mon‑Thu and 06:45‑13:45 Fri (£12.71/hour).
- Evening shift: 15:15‑01:15 Mon‑Thu (£14.04/hour).
- Full‑time temporary contract.
