Production Operative – Manufacturing & Print Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Production Operative to join a growing manufacturing business that specialises in specialist print solutions. You will work on the shop floor supporting the production process, ensuring that products are manufactured, packed and dispatched to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Pick, collate and pack components accurately to required standards.
• Support production schedules and meet daily targets.
• Maintain quality standards and follow company procedures.
• Record production information and material usage in company systems.
• Operate production equipment following training and guidelines.
• Carry out basic machine checks, cleaning and maintenance support.
• Report faults, discrepancies or production issues promptly.
• Pack, label and prepare products for dispatch.
• Assist colleagues across production departments as required.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

Required profile

• Reliable, punctual and excellent attention to detail.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is desirable but not essential.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new processes and equipment.
• Proactive team player who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
