Production Operative – Night Shift

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Production Operative to join a fast‑growing plastic manufacturing business on the night shift. The role involves operating and maintaining production machinery to produce items such as traffic cones and grass grids, while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, run and monitor production machines, adjusting settings to meet specifications.
• Carry out routine maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Pack finished goods, inspect for defects and ensure products meet quality standards before shipment.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area in line with health‑and‑safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with the production team to achieve daily output targets.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with machine operation.
• Ability to work night shifts in a fast‑paced setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Team‑oriented attitude and willingness to follow standard operating procedures.
