Production Operative – Rotating Shifts

About the role

We are looking for motivated Production Operatives to join our manufacturing team in Oldham. The role offers a rotating shift pattern (6am‑2pm, 2pm‑10pm, 10pm‑6am) and provides a solid foundation for a career in fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) production.

Key responsibilities

• Operate high‑speed machinery safely and efficiently.
• Perform regular quality checks on finished products.
• Carry out routine maintenance, cleaning and pre‑use inspections of equipment.
• Assist with loading and unloading of materials.
• Record production output, downtime and help meet output targets.
• Adhere to health, safety and quality procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn, follow instructions and work rotating shifts.
• Excellent attendance, time‑keeping and organisational skills.

Required skills

• Operating high‑speed production machinery.
