Production Operative – Temporary (Billingshurst)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Production Operative to join a leading water‑purification manufacturer in Billingshurst, West Sussex. The role is temporary and involves operating specialised machinery to produce and pack high‑quality purification and disinfection products while adhering to strict safety and hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate production machinery on rotating early and late shifts.
• Manufacture and pack water‑purification and disinfection products.
• Follow GMP and BRCGS quality standards throughout the process.
• Carry out routine quality checks on finished goods.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
• Comply with health and safety procedures and wear required PPE.

Required profile

• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including early and late patterns.
• Good attention to detail.
• Previous manufacturing or production experience is beneficial but not essential – full training provided.

Required skills

• Operating production machinery.
