Production Operative (Temporary)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Production Operative to provide flexible cover for a well‑established manufacturing business in Eastbourne. The role is temporary and ad‑hoc, helping the team during busy periods, holidays or sickness.

Key responsibilities

• Support the production team as required, covering shifts during peak times.
• Assist with machinery and finishing processes (full training provided).
• Pack, count and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Maintain a clean and organised production environment.
• Follow health & safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
• Work to high quality standards across all tasks.

Required profile

• Reliable and able to adapt to a flexible, ad‑hoc schedule.
• Willingness to learn machinery operation and finishing processes.
• Commitment to health & safety procedures and use of PPE.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
