Production Operative – Wavertree, Liverpool

People Solutions is recruiting a Production Operative for a well‑established manufacturing client in Wavertree, Liverpool. The role offers a competitive hourly rate, regular hours and the chance to develop skills on a busy production line.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with operation and basic maintenance of production lines to keep processes running smoothly.
• Read and follow detailed work instructions to ensure product quality and consistency.
• Monitor and inspect products throughout the process, performing routine quality checks.
• Adjust, calibrate and change tooling on packaging or processing equipment.
• Identify and report line issues, supporting basic troubleshooting.
• Carry out regular cleaning, lubrication and safety checks on machinery.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Production, Manufacturing, Factory, Machine or Assembly Operative.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving materials.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to meet production targets.
• Mechanical aptitude and confidence working with production machinery.
