Production Operative – Woodwork Assembly

About the role
We are looking for a reliable Production Operative to join a well‑established woodwork manufacturing client in Blandford Forum. The role is a day‑shift position, Monday to Thursday, focused on assembling and preparing wooden components to meet quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Assemble wooden products using hand and power tools.
- Prepare and finish woodwork items to required specifications.
- Carry out repetitive manual tasks safely and efficiently.
- Support general production duties, including finishing and clean‑up.
- Maintain a tidy, organised, and safe work environment.
- Follow supervisor instructions and work collaboratively within the production team.
Required profile
- Good attention to detail and a practical, hands‑on approach.
- Physical fitness to perform repetitive, physically demanding tasks.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well as part of a team.
- Awareness of health and safety in a production setting.
Required skills
- Experience with hand tools.
- Experience with power tools.
What we offer
- Day‑shift hours: 07:00 – 16:45, Monday‑Thursday.
- Competitive hourly rate of £13.45.
- PPE provided (except safety shoes/boots, which you must supply).
