Production Planner – Milton Keynes

About the role
We are seeking a Planner to join a Milton Keynes‑based company on a temporary basis. You will be responsible for planning production, coordinating with customers, and ensuring product availability aligns with demand forecasts.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal departments to meet production plan requirements.
- Use customer forecasts and sales history to optimise productivity and minimise obsolescence risk.
- Monitor and maintain finished‑goods stock levels to meet delivery lead times.
- Confirm shipment dates with the Customer Service Department for non‑stock orders and liaise with production management.
- Work with Quality Control to ensure materials are available for planned shipments.
- Provide support to Customer Service and Purchasing when needed.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a production‑planning role.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and stock‑control procedures.
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
- Willingness to accept a temporary (fixed‑term) contract.
