About the role

Elevation Recruitment Group is supporting a global manufacturer in Leeds to recruit an experienced Production Supervisor. The role offers a £40,000 annual salary, a Monday‑Friday daytime schedule, and responsibility for overseeing a team of 20‑30 staff in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of 20‑30 employees in a busy, regulated setting.
• Oversee multiple industrial machinery processes to ensure smooth operation and high‑quality output.
• Plan and schedule production activities with a methodical, proactive approach.
• Monitor equipment constraints, analyse data and resolve issues before they impact production.
• Maintain strict compliance with safety and regulatory procedures.
• Communicate effectively across departments to keep production on track.

Required profile

• Technical background in a regulated industry such as automotive, aerospace, medical or heavy engineering.
• Proven experience in a production leadership role.
• Strong communication skills for managing up and keeping teams informed.
• Methodical, proactive planning and problem‑solving mindset.
• Comfortable analysing data and making decisions based on real‑time information.
