Production Team Leader - Backshift

About the role

Albert Bartlett is seeking an enthusiastic Production Team Leader to oversee its back‑shift operations. You will be responsible for keeping high‑volume food production lines running safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of production operatives during the back‑shift.
• Maintain workflow efficiency, adjust staffing and processes to meet production targets.
• Ensure product quality meets company and customer expectations.
• Guarantee full compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards.
• Support quality‑control processes and promptly raise any issues.
• Identify operational challenges, analyse shift performance data and recommend improvements.
• Facilitate clear communication between production staff and management, ensuring smooth handovers between shifts.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Production Team Leader, Line Leader, Shift Leader or similar manufacturing leadership role.
• Strong people‑management and communication abilities.
• Ability to solve problems and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Proactive, organised and hands‑on approach.
• Willingness to work regular back‑shift hours.

Required skills

• Understanding of production processes, quality‑control measures and health & safety regulations.
