Professional Support Lawyer – Private Wealth

About the role

Our client, a respected regional law firm, is seeking a Professional Support Lawyer to join its Private Wealth team in Farnborough. The role focuses on technical legal leadership rather than fee‑earning, providing expertise across wills, trusts, estate planning and related matters.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, maintain and update precedents, templates and guidance notes for private client work.
• Provide technical support and advice on complex wills, trusts, probate and inheritance issues.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments affecting private wealth practice.
• Design and deliver training programmes and seminars for solicitors and partners.
• Contribute to thought‑leadership pieces, client seminars and business‑development initiatives.
• Support the firm’s innovation and knowledge‑sharing strategies.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with approximately 6+ years PQE in Private Client law.
• Strong technical knowledge of wills, trusts, estate administration and inheritance planning.
• Excellent drafting, research and communication abilities.
• Highly organised, commercially aware and collaborative.
• Experience in contentious probate, trust administration or Court of Protection is a plus.
