Professional Support Lawyer – Property

About the role

Our client, a growing regional law firm, is seeking an experienced Property solicitor to join its Real Estate team as a Professional Support Lawyer. The role sits at the centre of the department, driving technical standards and supporting legal knowledge initiatives while remaining closely connected to sophisticated property work.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain precedents, guidance notes and other technical resources for the property team.
• Monitor legislative, regulatory and market developments and communicate relevant changes to lawyers.
• Design and deliver training programmes and mentor junior lawyers.
• Support complex property matters, including acquisitions, disposals, landlord‑tenant and development projects.
• Contribute to client‑facing projects, thought‑leadership content and business‑development activities.
• Assist with process‑improvement and legal‑technology initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with substantial experience in commercial property or real estate.
• Strong technical knowledge, excellent drafting and research abilities.
• Commercially minded, proactive and able to communicate legal developments clearly.
• Experience across a broad range of property matters is advantageous.
