Program Officer, AI for Health

About the role

PATH is seeking a Program Officer to join its AI for Health team in London. The role will support the development and deployment of AI‑driven health tools – such as generative clinical decision support, patient simulation platforms and mental‑health chatbots – across low‑ and middle‑income countries.

Key responsibilities

• Own operational processes for the AI for Health portfolio, maintaining implementation timelines, contract milestones and payment schedules.
• Track risks, assign owners and develop mitigation plans, escalating issues to project leadership as needed.
• Plan and facilitate project meetings, workshops and partner convenings, preparing agendas, materials and follow‑up actions.
• Serve as primary contact for partners, collect deliverables, ensure timely review, approval and payment.
• Maintain accurate project trackers and coordinate progress reporting to donors.
• Oversee research compliance and IRB processes for portfolio activities.

Required profile

• Early‑career professional with experience in project or program management, preferably in global health or technology‑focused initiatives.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work with diverse international partners and funders.
• Excellent written communication for reporting and quality‑checking deliverables.
