Programme Director – Nationwide Property Remediation

About the role

This is a senior leadership position overseeing a multi‑year, nationwide property remediation programme covering roughly 400 commercial and mixed‑use assets across the UK. The role reports directly to the client senior team and sits within a highly respected real‑estate consultancy known for its employee‑ownership model and B Corp certification.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of a complex, multi‑workstream remediation programme from inception to completion.
• Act as the primary strategic contact for the client, managing governance, commercial performance and stakeholder relationships.
• Oversee multidisciplinary delivery teams, including project managers, building surveyors, quantity surveyors, engineers and specialist consultants.
• Ensure programme milestones, budgets and quality standards are met across all 400 assets.
• Develop and maintain programme governance frameworks, reporting structures and risk mitigation plans.

Required profile

• Significant experience leading large‑scale construction or property programmes.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑site, multi‑discipline teams and large budgets.
• Strong commercial acumen and governance expertise.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships at executive and board level.
