Programme Manager – Autonomous Systems

About the role

TechUK is seeking a Programme Manager to lead its autonomous systems and drone initiatives across defence, national security and emergency services. Working in a hybrid London setting, you will connect members, government bodies and industry to shape responsible deployment of these technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Represent TechUK as the voice of the technology sector to government departments, regulators and key stakeholders.
• Develop, implement and communicate autonomous‑systems programmes that meet member needs.
• Identify and exploit cross‑programme opportunities for drones and autonomous solutions.
• Build and nurture relationships across defence, national security and justice & emergency services.
• Support policy development and market engagement activities.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Confidence to raise both personal and organisational profile.
• Ability to work with senior representatives from industry, government and the operational community.

Required skills

What we offer

• Salary £35,000‑£42,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
