Programme Manager – CRM & Housing Implementation

About the role

The client is seeking a Programme Manager to lead the final build and delivery of a CRM and housing management system. The programme is currently 62% complete and will move through functional testing, end‑to‑end testing, cut‑over, and user training before a mid‑October 2026 go‑live.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a high‑level understanding of the programme to add immediate value to the delivery team.
• Identify, manage and mitigate key project risks throughout the remaining phases.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with the steering group and senior stakeholders.
• Provide concise assurance updates to the Project Board on status, decisions and risk impacts.
• Prepare and deliver Steering Group and Project Board reports in collaboration with suppliers.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams of internal staff and external consultants.
• Experience engaging senior leadership and translating technical concepts into business language.
• Track record of delivering large‑scale ERP, CRM or housing management system implementations.
• Strong understanding of system architecture, integration points and data migration challenges.
• Knowledge of GDPR and data‑security standards to ensure compliance.
• Expertise in managing third‑party vendors, negotiating SLAs and monitoring performance.

What we offer

• Day rate of £600‑£700 (outside IR35) for a 6‑9 month contract.
