About the role

Springer Nature is seeking a Programme Manager to join the Portfolio & Project Office within the Portfolio & Governance Office of the CIO function. Based in London, you will help shape strategic alignment and drive impactful projects from concept through execution, ensuring the technology portfolio delivers measurable business value.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee a portfolio of technology projects, aligning them with long‑term business objectives.
• Implement and maintain governance frameworks, demand‑management processes, and outcome‑measurement practices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimise resources, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement.
• Facilitate transparent decision‑making and prioritisation to maximise value creation across initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in programme or portfolio management within a technology‑focused environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business goals into actionable project plans.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and drive accountability.
