Programme Planner

About the role

The Programme Planner will support the development and management of multi‑workstream programmes across the Thames Valley area. Working closely with the Contract Director and operational teams, you will ensure that schedules are accurate, aligned with client expectations, and delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project and programme schedules using Oracle Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Support higher‑level programme planning and ensure alignment between detailed schedules and programme‑level reporting.
• Track planned versus actual performance, highlight variances, and assist with forecasting completion dates.
• Identify programme risks and constraints, support mitigation planning, and track scope changes in line with NEC contract requirements.
• Engage with project managers, supervisors, and planners across multiple contracts, providing regular updates in planning and progress meetings.
• Maintain consistent programme data, support contract‑level reporting, and drive planning standards across the business.
• Assist with tender submissions, mobilisation activities, and capture pre‑build information for programme development.
