Programme Technical Lead

About the role

The Programme Technical Lead is responsible for end‑to‑end technical delivery of the S4+ solution, covering SAP S/4HANA core, environments, landing zones, infrastructure, SAP RISE and the broader SAP and non‑SAP ecosystem. Reporting to the Chief Architect, the role ensures that the solution is sustainable, secure, operable and aligned with the target operating model.

Key responsibilities

• Own the technical delivery plan for S4+, aligning activities with SAP Activate phases and programme milestones.
• Translate architecture, design principles and Clean Core intent into executable work‑streams across internal and external teams.
• Maintain discipline across build, integration, data migration, security, testing, cut‑over and hyper‑care, intervening quickly when workstreams drift.
• Operate the Technical Working Group and support the Design Authority to ensure architectural decisions remain consistent with enterprise standards.
• Coordinate technical activities across Deloitte, SAP, Weir technology teams, BAU support and third‑party vendors, clarifying ownership throughout design, build, test, cut‑over and transition.

Required profile

• Proven senior technical leader with extensive experience delivering large‑scale SAP S/4HANA programmes.
• Strong governance mindset, able to manage multi‑vendor environments and enforce architectural standards.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of aligning integration, tooling, data, security and infrastructure teams.
