Project Accountant (12-month Fixed-Term)

About the role

We are seeking a Project Accountant to join KP Snacks on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. Working hybrid between our Ashby‑de‑la‑Zouch and Billingham sites, you will provide clear financial visibility, robust cost control and insightful reporting for complex, cross‑functional projects.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate project cost trackers, aligning spend with approvals and scope changes.
• Produce timely cost reports and forecasts to support decision‑making.
• Manage financial governance, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal approval processes.
• Identify, monitor and mitigate financial risks and potential overspend.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations and Project teams to deliver transparent financial insight.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified or fully qualified accountant (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
• Strong attention to detail and proactive mindset.
• Ability to work independently and influence stakeholders across functions.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
