Project Accountant – Financial Performance Lead

About the role
Your new company is a well‑established technology business operating globally as part of a listed group. Based in Guildford, you will own the financial performance of multiple projects and work closely with operational and senior stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with operational teams to maximise project profitability.
- Develop project forecasts, budgets and financial plans.
- Produce monthly reporting and performance analysis.
- Support commercial decision‑making throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor financial risks and identify improvement opportunities.
- Business‑partner senior stakeholders.
Required profile
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with commercial mindset.
- Experience in a project‑based or contract‑led environment.
- Strong forecasting and financial modelling abilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel.
