Project and Business Change Manager – Defence Cyber Academy

About the role

The Defence Cyber Academy (DCA) is expanding its training and education programmes for Ministry of Defence cyber specialists. As the Project and Business Change Manager, you will lead the delivery of technical support, training design and related projects, ensuring they meet time, cost and quality targets.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, monitor and report on a portfolio of DCA projects, covering business case development, commercial engagement, risk and issue management, and financial tracking.
• Act as the Business Change Manager, linking change initiatives to measurable programme benefits and providing regular status updates to senior leadership.
• Develop and manage statements of requirements, supporting the scheduling and delivery of cyber training courses.
• Coordinate procurement and implementation of communications, IT systems, commercial training services and external consultancy.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders across government and industry to align project outcomes with strategic objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project management and business change within a government or defence environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a creative approach to delivering solutions.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills for working with senior leaders and external partners.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
