Project Architect

About the role

Bureaux Andrew Phillips is looking for a Project Architect to join its London studio. The role involves guiding projects from the initial concept stage through to construction, collaborating closely with directors, clients and consultant teams. As the practice expands, the successful candidate will have the chance to take full responsibility for leading significant projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver architectural projects from concept through construction.
• Coordinate with directors, clients and external consultants to ensure design intent.
• Lead project teams and manage design stages across multiple disciplines.
• Take ownership of significant projects as the practice grows.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years post‑Part III professional experience.
• Proven experience leading projects through multiple design stages.
• Strong intellectual rigour and critical thinking ability.
• Collaborative mindset with confidence to assume responsibility.
• Curiosity about architecture, urban contexts, materials and construction.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Archicad (advantageous).
