Project Architect

About the role

A growing architectural practice in Oxfordshire is looking to appoint a Project Architect to join its established team. The role suits an architect with strong technical and delivery experience who can take ownership of projects, support junior team members and play a key part in a collaborative studio. The practice has a strong pipeline of secured work across residential, commercial, logistics and Science & Technology sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects through the technical and delivery stages, coordinating consultants and ensuring a high standard of delivery
• Work closely with senior leadership while supporting and mentoring junior team members, particularly on technical delivery and Revit
• Support current projects such as large-scale residential developments, commercial schemes, warehousing and logistics projects, and a significant long-term Science & Technology project focused on Stage 4 onwards

Required profile

• Qualified Architect with UK project experience
• Strong technical and construction knowledge
• Experience delivering projects through technical and construction stages
• Ability to manage projects and coordinate project teams
• Experience supporting or mentoring junior staff
• Experience on larger-scale projects
• Science & Technology project experience is advantageous but not essential

Required skills

• Revit skills are essential
• Technical and construction knowledge
