Project Assistant – Supported Housing Role

About the role

The Project Assistant (also referred to as Support Assistant) will help run the day‑to‑day operations of a supported housing service in Camden. The role does not involve personal care but focuses on the safety, wellbeing and administrative support of residents.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for residents, handling calls from GP, social services and benefits teams.
• Liaise with emergency services, including police and ambulance, when required.
• Record all incidents accurately in internal systems.
• Prepare and clean rooms after a resident vacates, ensuring readiness for the next occupant.
• Maintain routine administrative tasks and update records with attention to detail.

Required profile

• Experience in a customer‑facing environment.
• Understanding of supporting vulnerable people, possibly through personal lived experience.
• Basic administrative and IT competence.

Required skills

• Basic IT skills for record‑keeping and incident logging.
