Project Controller (Finance, SAP)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Controller to join a dynamic team on a 12‑month remote contract. You will be responsible for overseeing project finances, schedules and risks to ensure successful delivery within budget and timeline.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans aligned with organisational objectives.
• Monitor and control project budgets, track expenses and produce regular financial reports.
• Identify risks and issues, proposing and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Analyse performance data and provide insights to improve efficiency.
• Communicate progress and align expectations with project teams and senior stakeholders.
• Prepare and present status, financial and performance reports to senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Project Controller or in a similar finance‑focused project role.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and reporting.
• Excellent organisational abilities and capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote environment.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• SAP (experience preferred).
• MS Project or equivalent project‑management software.
• Primavera or similar scheduling tools.
