Project Controls Manager – Bristol

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to support the delivery of complex engineering programmes in Bristol. You will establish, manage and continuously improve project controls processes across cost, schedule, risk, change and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project controls activity across cost, schedule, risk, change and reporting.
• Support or lead Performance Measurement Baselines and Earned Value Management.
• Produce project controls reports, KPI packs and performance information.
• Collaborate with planners, cost engineers, risk managers, delivery teams and stakeholders.
• Support change control processes, risk integration and governance reporting.
• Interpret project performance data to aid decision‑making.
• Identify and implement improvements to controls processes.
• Provide clear insight into project progress, performance, risk and delivery confidence.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project controls, programme controls, PMO or project performance roles.
• Broad exposure to cost, schedule, risk, change, reporting and governance.
• Experience producing or contributing to project performance information.
• Confidence working with project data, schedules, cost information, risks, changes and KPIs.
• Strong stakeholder management and a disciplined approach to data quality and governance.

What we offer

• Competitive salary between £50,000 and £70,000 per year.
