Project Coordinator – Commercial Support (9‑month contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Project Coordinator to support the Commercial Manager and the wider project team of a growing construction business. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth commercial delivery of industrial construction projects through accurate administration and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Support the day‑to‑day commercial administration of multiple projects.
• Produce detailed cost summaries and commercial reports.
• Prepare and submit payment applications.
• Evaluate and submit variation claims.
• Identify and resolve incorrect contract costings.
• Ensure invoices are submitted in line with contract requirements.
• Manage contract documentation and maintain accurate project files.
• Follow up actions from Commercial Value Review (CVR) meetings.
• Provide support to the Commercial Manager and Contract Managers.
• Visit project sites to assist Project and Contracts Managers when required.

Required profile

• Highly organised with excellent administrative abilities.
• Commercially aware with strong attention to detail.
• Confident working independently and managing multiple priorities.
• Excellent communicator able to build strong working relationships.
• Proactive problem‑solver with a positive, can‑do attitude.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including advanced formulas.
