Project Coordinator – Construction (Derby)

About the role

Avove is seeking a Project Coordinator to join its expanding team on the Severn Trent Water contract. Based in Derby (with consideration for Telford, Coventry and Birmingham), you will support design and delivery teams, ensuring smooth document control and quality assurance throughout project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage document control across multiple projects, handling transmittals of drawings, models, programmes and commercial instructions.
• Support the delivery team in meeting quality objectives and assurance procedures.
• Assist the Project Manager with internal and external meetings, including site engagement.
• Coordinate activities between design and delivery teams to ensure efficient project flow.
• Provide support to the management and commercial team as required.

Required profile

• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in construction, preferably with a contractor.
• Understanding of project management processes and commercial awareness is desirable.
• Right to work in the UK for the duration of employment (no Skilled Worker Visa sponsorship).
