Project Coordinator – Leighton Buzzard

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Project Coordinator to become the central hub for all project activity within a fast‑growing SME based in Leighton Buzzard. You will ensure projects are planned, tracked and communicated effectively from order confirmation through to final installation.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate new projects on order confirmation and set clear production, purchasing and installation timelines.
• Create and maintain detailed project plans and an up‑to‑date schedule visible to all stakeholders.
• Coordinate activities across production, purchasing and installation teams to align with project requirements.
• Monitor progress against milestones, identify potential delays early and organise corrective actions.
• Escalate critical issues when necessary and support departments in meeting deadlines.
• Maintain comprehensive project records, documentation and regular reporting.
• Serve as the primary internal point of contact for project updates and liaise with external customers, project managers and suppliers.

Required profile

• Highly organised and proactive with strong communication abilities.
• Confident managing information flow between internal teams and external customers.
• Comfortable working in a fully office‑based environment.
