Project Director – Data Centre Construction

About the role

Lead the delivery of a flagship hyperscale data centre project in London for a leading international main contractor. This site‑based position offers full ownership from pre‑construction through to handover, working alongside experienced construction professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for safety, programme, quality, commercial performance and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead multidisciplinary construction, engineering and commercial teams on site.
• Manage key client relationships and act as the senior point of contact.
• Ensure delivery aligns with the contractor’s standards and client expectations.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering major construction projects as a Project Director, Construction Director or Senior Project Manager.
• CSA/Civil background with a strong record working for a principal/main contractor.
• Excellent leadership, client‑facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in mission‑critical, data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial or large‑scale construction projects is highly desirable.
• Willingness to work full‑time on site, Monday‑Friday.

• Salary £130,000 – £170,000 per year.
