Project Engineer – Automation & Intralogistics

About the role

Join Jungheinrich’s dynamic team in Milton Keynes as a Project Engineer, helping to design and deliver cutting‑edge automated material handling solutions for leading UK organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design and implementation of complex automated material handling systems.
• Create detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop and manage BIM models with Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
• Collaborate with Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review technical specifications and integrate subcontractor designs.
• Assist with customer installations and site visits when required.
• Help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Required profile

• Engineering or technical background.
• Experience working with automated equipment or systems.
• Strong AutoCAD proficiency.
• Hands‑on BIM modelling experience, including Revit and Navisworks.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced project environment.
