Project Engineer – Robotics & Automation

About the role

Do you have project or design experience and want a clear progression plan as the go‑to technical expert on large‑scale projects? This role offers the chance to join a global manufacturer of robotics systems for the industrial and manufacturing sectors, with specialist training and long‑term stability.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee projects from sales through quotation and bid confirmation.
• Manage the quoting, estimating and bid lifecycle for electro‑mechanical and robotics equipment.
• Coordinate the bespoke manufacture of robotics and automation solutions for blue‑chip clients.
• Liaise with multiple internal departments to ensure smooth project delivery.

Required profile

• Engineering background (mechanical, electrical or design).
• Experience in project or design work with a focus on bid and project leadership.
• Willingness to commute to St Ives and work on‑site in an office environment (37 hours/week).
