Project Manager (12-month contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead and manage projects on a day‑to‑day basis, ensuring delivery of agreed outcomes within time, cost and quality constraints. The role is based in Corsham and requires four days per week on site for a 12‑month fixed‑term contract.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage project delivery from initiation through to completion
• Oversee day‑to‑day project planning, controls, and governance
• Coordinate development of the Business Case
• Manage budgets, resources, risks, and issues
• Track, report, and assure project performance against milestones
• Identify, measure, and manage benefits realisation
• Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
• Apply appropriate project management methodologies
• Ensure effective change control and decision‑making processes
• Promote continuous improvement and personal development

Required profile

• Experience working within medium or large projects, or leading a workstream/specialist area within a small, low‑complexity project
• Knowledge of project management practices, tools, and techniques
• Experience in planning, scheduling, risk and issue management
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to analyse data and provide high‑quality management information
• Strong organisation, prioritisation, and decision‑making capability
• Professional credibility to work collaboratively across teams and functions
• Leadership, making effective decisions, communicating & influencing, delivering at pace (behaviours assessed)
• Technical competencies: planning, risk & issue management, stakeholder engagement
