Project Manager – Built Environment

About the role

TSA Riley is seeking a Project Manager to strengthen its project management team in the Northwest region, with offices in central Manchester and Bolton. The successful candidate can work out of either office. The role covers pre-construction, development management and delivery stage project management services, with exposure to a wide range of clients across the built environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project delivery, including scope, budget, safety and programme, coordinating consultants, contractors and stakeholders
• Own planning, procurement, coordination and consultant inputs
• Lead meetings, site coordination and project documentation
• Monitor programme and cost performance, track risks, opportunities and commercial factors, and escalate issues
• Resolve conflicts and mitigate delays
• Prepare project reports and records using TSA Riley systems and templates
• Maintain clear communication with clients and manage client expectations
• Manage project risk, safety and compliance in line with TSA Riley standards
• Contribute to proposals, sector initiatives and continuous improvement

Required profile

• Several years of post-qualification experience delivering construction-related projects in a client-side or consulting environment
• A tertiary qualification relevant to projects in the built environment, such as Construction Project Management
• Project management experience in the built environment; exposure to residential, retail, commercial, healthcare, leisure and/or industrial projects is advantageous
• Understanding of end-to-end project lifecycles, including procurement, design coordination, delivery and contract administration
• Experience in agile environments and cross-functional teams
• Not suitable for candidates coming from other industries such as IT, marketing or finance

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital tools for reporting, tracking and documentation
• Critical thinking, problem-solving and collaboration
