Project Manager - Capital Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Project Manager – Capital Projects to help shape the future of gas infrastructure across the North of England. The role will be based in Carlisle, Sunderland or Leeds and will involve managing investments in a 37,000 km network that serves homes, businesses and communities in the North East, Yorkshire and Cumbria. Northern Gas Networks (NGN) is investing heavily in this network to ensure reliable energy supply for the region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead capital projects that expand and modernise the gas network.
• Ensure delivery of projects that support the 37,000 km infrastructure.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align project outcomes with regional energy needs.

Required profile

• Experience in managing large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Ability to work across multiple locations (Carlisle, Sunderland, Leeds).

What we offer

• Salary starting at £50,742 per year.
• Up to 10 % performance bonus.
• Car allowance of £6,500 per annum.
• Permanent contract, 40 hours per week.
