Project Manager – Capital Works and Retrofit Delivery

About the role

Lead transformative projects that directly combat climate change while improving homes for vulnerable people. You will spearhead the Warm Homes Programme and Net Zero initiatives across more than 1,800 properties in Surrey and surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the Warm Homes Programme, managing energy‑efficiency upgrades and capital works such as kitchens, bathrooms, windows, doors and roofs.
• Manage project budgets, lead procurement processes and coordinate internal and external partners.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, health & safety standards and CDM regulations are met.
• Travel across the operating area to oversee works and maintain stakeholder relationships.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead capital works and retrofit projects to time, quality and budget.
• Experience managing consultants and contractors, ensuring contract compliance.
• Strong knowledge of asset management, energy efficiency and sustainability in social housing.
• Ability to use data for investment planning and maintain stock‑condition databases.
• Track record of identifying funding opportunities for decarbonisation programmes.
• Excellent communication with colleagues, contractors, residents and external stakeholders.

• £59,000 per annum salary
