Project Manager – Claims & Operations Transformation

About the role

QBE Europe is seeking a Project Manager to lead change initiatives within the Claims and Operations area. This permanent, full‑time position is based in London and offers a hybrid working model. You will be responsible for delivering projects worth up to £2 million, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and oversee end‑to‑end delivery of projects and workstreams.
• Manage cross‑functional teams, external vendors, and third‑party resources.
• Develop business cases, project timelines, cost estimates and benefit analyses for approval.
• Create and maintain project and resource plans, budgets and risk registers.
• Communicate progress, issues and key messages to stakeholders across the organisation.
• Coordinate testing, manage dependencies and ensure alignment with project assurance standards.
• Facilitate smooth transition of completed projects into day‑to‑day operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project management, preferably within insurance or financial services.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication abilities.
• Ability to work with senior business stakeholders and manage change.
